The Annual Austin Ice Cream Festival, at Fiesta Gardens, is fun for the whole family. Games, activities, contests, live entertainment and of course, ice cream, will keep you cool and happy.

Bat Fest August 23

The Bat Fest is where 1.5 million Mexican free-tailed bats will emerge from under the Ann Richards Congress Ave Bridge at dusk. There will also be 2 stages with live music, over 75 arts and crafts vendors, yummy food and dfrinks, many children's activities, a bat costume contest and many other fun activities for the whole family to participate in! The emergence of the bats will usually begin between 7:00-8:30pm!

Tri-Rock Austin Triathlon September 1

In the heart of downtown Austin this urban setting provides a swim start at the Stevie Ray Vaughn statue with a swim course in Lady Bird Lake, fast and closed bike course with stunning views over the Congress Street Bridge and finishes with a run along the Auditorium Shores running path.
